China Business Immersion Program （CBI）

The CBI program is an English-only program particularly designed for international students. In addition to conventional courses like Chinese Language and Chinese Culture, it offers specialized business courses like “Private Enterprises in China Economy” and “An Introduction to the Service Sector of China”, and provides international students with internship bases in the Pearl River Delta. The CBI program builds an international curriculum system integrating classroom instruction and off-campus experiencing, having students totally immersed in their study so as to better understand the Chinese culture and economy.

Features

All subjects are taught in English, Chinese and international students studying together.

Business courses are flexible in content, whose modules are constructed by experienced teachers according to international criteria, with the latest resources included.

Credits of this one semester / year certificate program are recognized by foreign universities.

Trips to Cantonese private enterprises will be organized and lectures will be given by invited entrepreneurs to international students so as to know the genuine state of economic development in Guangdong province and China.

Trips to Cantonese cultural remains will be organized for international and Chinese students so they can communicate with each other and know more about the Cantonese culture.

International students will have a 2 to 5 week internship in Chinese enterprises and then finish their internship reports.

International students can attend the Cantonese Fair in spring or autumn and feel the latest development and trend of international trade.
